In the movies all the actors are portrayed dramatically. For example in all three movies Hamlets character is portrait as a lost soul, always feeling sorrow and sadness for the lost of his father. Then given a twist with anger and vengeance. The movie scenes' music gives Hamlets journey, to find his fathers ghost, more enthusiastic and interesting. The music played a big role in every dramatic scene it gave suspense and an intense feeling. In the scene where Hamlet is following his fathers ghost through the wood the lighting and special affects gives the audience a visual view of the horror's Hamlets father has to overcome every night. These view of all how Hamlets father has to burn off his sins. It gives the movie this twist turn and accentuates Hamlets fathers murder and Hamlets future revenge against his Uncle/stepfather.
The director gives these flash backs when a characters is mentioning something that happened in the past or later that day, it helps the viewers see visually what the character went through and what led them to where they are now. This adds depth to every scenes because it is better for a viewer to see what is going on than just hear the character talk about it. Overall the effects off the directors choices gives the movies a different feel, for example in the second movie gives you this evil and cruel vibe of Hamlet's uncle during the flashback to Hamlets father death. I agree with the choices the director made in the second movie because every music, lighting, and thunder gave off a vibe to help fully understand the scences and the sorrow the characters are feeling. The version that resonated more with me was the Second version of the movie with (Kenneth) Branagh because the dramatic scenes help you understand what the character is feeling and the vibe in that scene.
